It's Ash Wednesday! Start off the season of Lent right with a simple service at 12:00, and an evening service at 6:00pm including the imposition of ashes.

OUR HISTORY

The Episcopal church in Plaquemine first recorded services in 1844 and in the year 1870 the church was first incorporated. The first recorded confirmations in Plaquemine took place in 1886. The original church, built approximately in 1885, burned in February of 1913 and the church standing today was built in November of that year. In the years of 1970 and 1992, with a registered architect as rector, remodeling of the parish house, church, and sacristy were effected. The rectory was located next to the church but in 1969, a new, more modern rectory was built wit the help of many donations from the congregation.
